Recommended Headsets for Customer Service Professionals

The headset should be a professional headset which is planned for the open office and long time use. The user experience is always personal and therefore the employees should be involved in the selection of headsets.

Keep following issues in your mind when doing the selection of headsets:

  • Wired headset is recommended because of endless speech time and better video – audio sync.
  • On-ear and over-ear models are both recommended. However, this depends on user preferences.
  • Noise reduction with switch on/off is recommended.
  • Red light signal when on the video/phone call is very useful
  • Mute is recommended feature in microphone. Mechanic mute on/off is very useful feature (microphone up = off).

We recommend following headset models:

    1. Jabra Evolve 80 MS
    2. Jabra Evolve 40 UC

Recommended Video Cameras for Customer Service Professionals

The video camera should be a professional model which works well in office lighting.

Keep following issues in your mind when doing the selection of video camera:

  • Professional video quality even in low light
  • 1080p resolution is recommended
  • Red light signal for recording
  • Good mounting
  • External / manual privacy shutter

We recommend following web-camera models:

    1. Logitech C930 web-camera
    2. Microsoft LifeCam Cinema web-camera
    3. Microsoft LifeCam Studio web-camera

Requirements for the Firewall

Computer or the used Internet connection may use firewall, which denies the video transfer between Vooler server and user’s device. Send the instructions below to your IT support and request them to check that these connections are enabled. Note: It might take a long time to change these settings in your organisation.

Vooler uses the Internet connections listed below. Normally they are accepted in home and company networks. However, if the organisation has stronger firewall protection, the connections below must be opened for Vooler. Without these connections the videos are not working. Ask your IT support to make the settings below in your firewall.

Required Traffic / Ports IP Address Space Protocol
port 443/TLS 95.175.126.0/24 HTTPS
3480/udp 95.175.126.0/24 WebRTC video channel

Huom: Teams ja Skype are using the same UDP-port (3480).

Requirements to handle spam filtering in the organisation’s email server

This guide only applies to organisations that frequently send email invitations in Vooler.

We use the reliable and secure Sendinblue service to send emails. The recipient’s e-mail servers may be configured to filter or handle incoming messages from different sources. A typical error situation is delaying of the emails.

Please send the information below to your IT support responsible of your email server and ask them to verify that the email server we are using has been added to your list of trusted email servers.
